Creating a Theme for Your Bedroom

Bedroom themes vary for teenage boys and girls bedrooms. Popular color themes for the boys are navy, sky blue, gray, khaki, and red. Teenagers today have a variety of gadgets such as iPods and personal computers at their disposal which is why the need more than just functional spaces. Many teens would endorse a modern style room with a few funky elements that can be in the form of bright colours, geometrical shapes, and patterns. Metal furniture would go well with a teenage boy’s bedroom. A sleek metal bed with nickel frames and metal locker systems would keep them happy.

For the teenage girl, there is a variety of themes. While colours such as pink, purple, orange, white, and turquoise are ideal shades for a girl’s room, adding a beach or surfing theme with Hawaiian motifs such as palm trees, ukuleles, and bamboo will have your teenage girl locked in her bedroom often.
